Hoop Conditioning Library

A beginner hoop routine flows through many dynamic positions including back extension flexion, end range hip flexion, extension, and shoulder extension. To exhibit these movements the aerialist must maintain core stability in order to balance, mobilise and resist the rotation of the hoop. Core stability is the ability to carry out static or still control of a position in dynamic postures or against forces (Dongaz et al. 2024). In hoop it helps maintain control while absorbing and transferring forces to other body parts and support body kinematics (Dongaz et al., 2024).
